How it all started! My love affair with Italy

Lizzy V Gifts started with a journal entry from my Mom who loved traveling and bringing home beautiful gifts from the European Countries she visited.

The entry that said that Venice “must be the most magical place in the world” stayed with me for years.  So when my kids flew the nest, I went on a solo life changing sojourn to explore Italy and it has definitely claimed a piece of my heart. I have to agree with my beautiful Mom, Venice IS one of the most magical places in the world. When your feet first hit the ground you feel like you have stepped back in time with the Architecture and the canals. I fell in love with the people and the old world traditions that have continued for years.
